I wanted to test including other items an status effects in the game so I added a bomb and potion item with status effects for the player getting hit by each. Though for some reason the CPU animation isn't consistant in showing the status changes but the player 1 and 2 animate as intended. 

Then I decided to finish up the game modes with survival mode. In this mode the players have to constantly play the game without making any mistakes. Eating hay, missing burritos, or taking to long deducts the players life. The player who loses all their lives loses the game. It was just an idea for a diffrent way to play billy binge aside from the standard and item-included modes. Maybe their will be other game modes but for now, I'll stop at 3.

Next, its time to add an insentive to playing the game. Currency and in game shopping.

Features Include:

• Current item glows/flickers to identify to the player what they are interacting with

• Survival Game Mode

  • Players must maintin their lives while eating burrtios constantly without eating any hay or passing on a burruto.

• New Items/Status Effects

  • Potion - turns player into rabbit

  • Bomb - leaves player burned

My main goal this session. was to create a way to make the game more fair for players who wern't keen on random generation determining matches. The compromise was to create sepereate game modes so I could still keep the spirit on the original concept in tact. 

Features Include:

• Different Game Modes

  • Standard: Both players have the same items and attack items are disabled

  • Chaos: Each player randomly generates an item and attack items are enabled

  • Survival: TBD

• CPU changing character skins

• Screen Shake when attack items hit player

The first build of Billy Binge has been released on Itch.io. This bowser-based build is meant to showcase the base mechanics and ascetic of the game before further expansion. 

Features Include:

• 1-Player Mode

• 2-Player Mode

• Settings to change the music level, sound effect level, and computer difficulty

• 3 Character Skins 

  • Billiam - Default Player Skin

  • Robo Binger - CPU Opponent Skin

  • Doppel Binger -  Player Two Skin

• 1 Special Item - Big Bullet
